GARDEN ROOM OFFICE & STORAGE, WIMBLEDON

Rob and Theresa contacted Hawksbeck garden rooms looking for a garden office with storage. They wanted to be able to have an office during the week and playroom at weekends for the children. Garden rooms are the perfect solution for families with multiple requirements for a room. By installing a garden room, it means that you have a quiet space to escape to for use as an office or a place to keep kids toys or playtime out of the main house!

Hawksbeck worked with Rob and Theresa to design and build the perfect multifunctional space, incorporating a Swedish bike hanging solution to maximise the space in their storage area and to keep the bicycles out of the main home. In London it is quite common for there to be smaller garden spaces available so any storage solution was critical to the design of this garden room.

Once all the necessary permissions were in place our team set to work constructing the garden room and in a matter of a short space of time, our clients were well on their way to enjoying their new space! All our Hawksbeck garden rooms are designed and constructed to building regulation standards and are visited and signed off by a building control inspector. This means that they will add considerable value to your home as they are classed as a habitable space and are able to be used all year round, whatever the weather conditions are.

Finally, our clients were also keen for their garden room to feel an integral part of the garden and not feel like the room had taken over the space. So we designed, sourced and laid a living roof using Irish sedum. This gave a beautiful finish to their garden room and a green view from the upstairs windows, making their new space feel like it had always been there.
